Electromechanic - Maintenance

Position Overview

TMI Climate Solutions LLC is launching a new facility in Mesquite, Texas and seeks an Electromechanic to support operations. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations through preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair factory and building production equipment, both electrical and mechanical.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and provide solutions to technical problems.
• Conduct periodic inspections of tools and equipment, making necessary adjustments for proper functioning.
• Contact suppliers for technical support, quotes, or service calls.
• Train users on proper maintenance of their tools and equipment as needed.
• Organize the maintenance department following 5S principles.
• Establish and maintain equipment repair records.
• Set up and keep spare parts lists up to date for various equipment; manage spare parts inventory using Kanban.
• Prepare purchase requisitions.
• Follow up daily on repair/modification/maintenance requests entered in the request file.
• Participate in machine safety implementation and optimization.
• Participate in installations or continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide technical support outside of working hours for emergencies.
• Keep work area clean and organized; put away tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  DVS in Automated Systems Electromechanics.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with HVAC is an asset.
• Computer skills:
  Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification and licenses:
  None required.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Experience with automation systems and basic programming.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions; demonstrate safe work practices.
• Strong communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.
• Ability to execute tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong sense of priorities and time management.
• Good manual dexterity and physical condition to meet job requirements.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
