Job OverviewThe Industrial Maintenance Electrician will perform skilled electrical/instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work related to specialized electrical equipment and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment following established trade methods and procedures.
Accommodate Schedule5am - 1:30pm and 11am - 7:30pm. Occasionally OT on Saturdays for PMS.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial, cosmetics or food manufacturing environment.
- Industrial/commercial electrical construction experience (conduit bending experience necessary).
- Maintenance Electrician / Apprentice Electrician license.
- Ability to determine materials needs and quote.
- Knowledge of code (generally interior buildout).
- Ability to assess and design circuitry, wire size, components, connections, distributed from panel installation of local disconnects up to 480vac 3‑phase.
- Ability to work from lift as needed.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment/production setting is a plus.
- Experience overseeing a small crew as needed.
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, drives, relays, three‑phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems.
- Preferred experience in the installation and setup of VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, and problem‑solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude.
- Able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Capable of installing and troubleshooting basic 3‑phase motors & control circuits. Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
