Responsibilities
- Installation Leadership:
Lead cable plant, equipment mounting, rack build‑out, and antenna system work for Motorola DMR and DAS/BDA ERCES projects, setting the pace and standard for the crew - Motorola DMR Infrastructure:
Perform and oversee installation of Motorola DMR system components including CapMAX base stations, LCP infrastructure, combiners, antenna systems, and cabling - DAS/BDA ERCES:
Lead installation of Public Safety DAS head‑end and antenna cabling, BDA equipment mounting, and antenna distribution per engineered drawings and NFPA 1221 requirements - Quality Control:
Inspect all installation work for adherence to project drawings, manufacturer specifications, and the company's quality standards prior to commissioning handoff - Team Mentorship:
Share your expertise openly through hands‑on coaching and positive leadership on every job site - Blueprint Execution:
Accurately read and execute installation plans, schematics, riser diagrams, and engineered drawings for complex deployments - Commissioning Support:
Partner with the LMR Field Service Technician during testing and commissioning, contributing to continuity testing, RF path verification, and pre‑commissioning checks - Team Communication:
Keep field management informed of installation progress, flag issues early, and participate in daily briefings and kickoff meetings - Documentation:
Maintain accurate installation logs, material tracking records, and daily progress reports - Safety:
Uphold OSHA standards, site safety rules, and PPE compliance – lead by example and never compromise on safety
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 10 required
- Low‑voltage license or equivalent certification preferred
- 4‑6 years of low‑voltage installation experience in commercial or enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience leading installation work or serving as a crew lead/foreman
- Experience with DAS/BDA systems required; ERCES Public Safety systems experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Motorola DMR or LMR infrastructure installation is a strong advantage
- Ability to read and execute complex blueprints, riser diagrams, and RF system schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, cable testers, and basic RF measurement equipment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must pass background check and drug screening
- A collaborative leader – someone who elevates the people around them and takes pride in the team's success
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and elevated structures
- Comfortable working in various environments including server rooms, equipment closets, rooftops, and construction sites
- Ability to stand, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Capable of working in varying weather and temperature conditions
This role requires approximately 80% travel, primarily within an assigned region with national travel as project needs require. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major commercial airport hub to support rapid regional and national deployment. If relocation is required, a relocation package can be negotiated. CompensationThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation reasonably in good faith believed for this role. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
