Join Our Team as a Low Voltage Electrical Technician at Epiroc!
Work Type (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote):

Shift Timings (If applicable):7am – 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot low-voltage systems using wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical-to-electronic interfaces.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics.
- Perform assembly duties as needed.
- Identify and report defective materials, faulty operation, or unusual conditions to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed safety regulations and guidelines.
- Work independently on wiring and programming, including engine and control system programming.
- Maintain a clean work area and support 5S activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- Safe working practices in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand specifications, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Mechanical components and systems
- Hydraulic components and systems
- Electrical components and systems
- Electrical troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and schematics
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and ERP systems
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Basic computer and technology skills for documentation and reporting.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and close quarters when required.
- Working knowledge of electrical theory and principles.
- Ability to climb, lift, bend, and work at heights as required.
- Ability to perform work safely outdoors in various weather conditions.
