Trailer​/SRI Repair Specialist

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies
• Perform tire and brake maintenance
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components
• Dismount, balance, and mount tires
• Occasionally road-test vehicles
• Work on a production line
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklist
• Assess and care for field vehicles using U-Haul Company’s proprietary technology
• Lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following supervisor directives and guidance

• Basic mechanical aptitude
• 1–2 years of repair experience preferred
• Driver’s license
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Basic computer skills
• Regular attendance
• Ability to work around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals with required safety precautions
• May need to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields
• Ability to remain stationary, traverse spaces, reposition to reach and use tools, and move a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted
• Must not use nicotine products, where applicable under U-Haul policy and state law

Demonstrates mechanical aptitude with experience in tire and brake maintenance, including rebuilding braking systems and trailer components. Proficient in using proprietary technology for vehicle assessment and repair, while adhering to safety protocols.
