Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Financial Reporting

Odyssey Contracting is seeking a detail-driven Construction Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations while protecting job profitability, cash flow, and financial accuracy. This is not a passive bookkeeping role; it requires an active financial operator who understands construction workflows.

• Job Costing: Maintain accurate job cost tracking, ensuring costs are coded correctly to jobs, phases, and cost categories.
• AR/AP Management: Track customer invoices, monitor aging, process vendor invoices, and manage lien waivers.
• Financial Reporting: Perform monthly reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support budget vs. actual reporting.
• Payroll & Labor: Support payroll processing, ensuring labor is coded correctly by job and cost type.
• Systems Management: Maintain accuracy in Quick Books (or equivalent) and coordinate data with CRM systems.

Requirements: 3+ years of accounting experience (construction preferred), strong understanding of job costing, proficiency with Quick Books, and high attention to detail.
