Job Title: Water Technician 2

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina / Greensboro, North Carolina

Compensation: $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience

As a Water Technician 2, you will play a key role in our water system maintenance:
Valve Exercise, Fire Hydrant Maintenance, or Blowoff Maintenance. Your work is critical in ensuring that vital components of the water infrastructure function properly and meet safety and performance standards. With clearly defined expectations and hands-on field experience, this role offers a structured path for professional development. Upon successful completion of performance milestones, you will have the opportunity to advance to Water Technician 3, continuing your career growth within our team.

This role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.
