What We Need:

The position is responsible forthe functionality,operation,and maintenance of electrical automation and control technology in the manufacturing process throughout the entire company.

What You’llDo:
  • Troubleshoots,installsor replaces programmable automation and controls equipment.
  • Troubleshoots,installsor replaces variable frequency drives in stand-alone applications as well as integrating into existing systems.
  • Solves process control related problems (control cycles, PID loops) in existing programs.
  • Troubleshoots automation networks (Controlscomponentas well as servers – client network).
  • Supportsmanufacturingprocess by providing technical support for manufacturing operations.
  • Installs,replacesand calibrates field instrumentation including RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure transducers, stand-alone PID controllers, web guiders, Thickness measurements
  • Attend any job-related trainingdeemednecessary by supervision
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management
What You Have:
  • Associate degree or its equivalency in electrical technology from accredited school or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Demonstratedproficiencyin process ontrol automation.
  • Five or moreyears'recent experience in repairing,maintaining and installing electrical equipment,systems,orapplications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and publications.
  • Computerproficiencyincluding Microsoft Office, CAD, ladder logic software, HMI developmentsoftwareand other  code, most effective technology, and proficient using all applicable tools and equipment.
  • Abilityto readand understand technical documents and instructions such asblueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic programming,troubleshooting and repair manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
  • Ability tomaintaina valid driver’s license.
What You’reGood At:
  • Must be able to move oneself freely throughout a manufacturing facility.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and externalcustomersand to build effective workingrelationshipswith diverse work groups.
  • Must be able to use standard electrical test equipment.
  • Proficient in performing basic math calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.
What Else?
  • This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be regular exposure to chemicals, noise from machinery, dust,fumes,and variable temperatures.
  • Other working conditions may include working long hours and flexible shifts, including holidays.
  • Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.;bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
