Tink Bird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full‑time permanent opportunity with a growing rural health dermatology practice in North Carolina. This position focuses exclusively on medical dermatology and offers the opportunity to build long‑term patient relationships while expanding access to dermatologic care in underserved communities.

• Supervising Board‑Certified Dermatologist available remotely via phone and Zoom
• No onsite dermatology team for training or collaboration

• Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and full‑body skin exams
• Diagnose and manage:
  • Acne
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
  • Rosacea
  • Dermatitis
  • Fungal infections
  • Rashes
  • Skin cancers and precancerous lesions
• Perform dermatologic procedures including:
  • Shave biopsies
  • Punch biopsies
  • Excisional biopsies
  • Cryotherapy
  • Lesion removal
  • Wound care management
• Interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic testing
• Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Provide patient education on skin health and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program
• Active North Carolina NP or PA license
• National certification required
• Minimum 1 year of dermatology experience under a Board‑Certified Dermatologist
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Must be enrolled or have prior enrollment in Medicare/Medicaid
• Providers should currently hold a dermatology certification or be eligible to obtain certification within 12 months of employment
• Examples include:
  • DCNP for Nurse Practitioners
  • Equivalent dermatology‑focused certification for Physician Assistants

• Experience with biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal
• Familiarity with dermatoscopy and EMR systems
• Interest in rural healthcare and continuity of care
• Prior independent dermatology practice experience strongly preferred
