Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time - Day Shift

Role

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for providing direct, individualized nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing care plans.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, document patient responses, and report concerns promptly.
• Administer and record medications accurately, monitor vital signs, perform lab tests, and interpret results.
• Educate patients and families on health and psychiatric topics, serving as a role model for peers.
• Participate in team conferences and collaborate across departments to ensure quality care.
• Provide coverage in emergency situations as needed while maintaining high safety standards.

• Graduation from an approved LPN program.
• One or more years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards within an acute psychiatric setting.
• Valid LPN license, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications.

This is an onsite individual contributor role requiring collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and adherence to safety and quality standards.
