Position: Quality Assurance Lead

Location: Garner, NC

Pay: $25 to $28/hour

Experience: 1 year of experience in quality control, preferably in the printing industry.

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time;
Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm

Greene Resources is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description
  • Conduct quality inspections across production areas, including presses, cutting machines, folders, and pack-out stations.
  • Oversee daily workflow of QA Technicians by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and supporting quality goals.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections, testing, and documentation reviews.
  • Verify proper packaging, labeling, and carton accuracy of finished products.
  • Perform quality checks including rub tests, barcode scans, and comparator checks for printed materials.
  • Support investigations involving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and customer complaints.
  • Coordinate and support product rework activities to ensure defective materials meet quality requirements.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze quality data for audits, investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO 9001 standards, and cGMP requirements.
  • Perform additional quality assurance duties and projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Experience interpreting and applying ISO 9001 standards.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to read a ruler to 1/64”.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
