About the Role:Advance Concrete LLC is seeking a reliable, hands-on Fleet Maintenance Technician to help keep our light- and medium-duty trucks, earth-moving equipment, and support vehicle safety and running well. This role is responsible for routine preventive maintenance and repairs — oil changes, filter replacement, brake service, tire mounting/balancing, and small engine repair — across our fleet and equipment. We're looking for a candidate with some hands-on mechanical experience;
additional training will be provided for any specific tasks or equipment you haven't worked on before.
- Perform routine oil and filter changes, and replace air filters, on light- and medium-duty trucks and earth-moving equipment according to recommended service intervals.
- Inspect, diagnose, and service brake systems, including pads, rotors, drums, etc.
- Mount, dismount, and balance tires; inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation, and rotate as needed.
- Perform general preventive maintenance inspections (fluids, belts, hoses, lights, filters) on trucks and earth-moving equipment, and flag additional repairs needed.
- Keep accurate maintenance records/logs for each vehicle and piece of equipment, including services performed and parts used.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow all safety procedures when using tools and equipment.
- Order or request parts and supplies as needed and communicate with the shop/fleet manager on vehicle/equipment status and downtime.
- Assist with additional light mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Some prior hands-on experience with trucks, heavy equipment, or small engine maintenance preferred (oil changes, brakes, tires, or similar);
willingness to be trained on any gaps. - Basic understanding of hand and power tools commonly used in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver's license in good standing; CDL a plus but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of shop safety practices.
- Ability to work independently.
- Position is full time, hourly and pay will be based on experience level.

- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
