Position: Office Support II (Receptionist)

Johnston County Public Schools West View Elementary - Garner, North Carolina

Office Support II (Receptionist)

Reports To: Principal

Term: 10 Months

Salary Grade: 58

Site: West View Elementary School

Starting Date: Immediately

Responsibilities
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Knowledge of computer operations and good computer skills
  • Ability to type and operate office equipment with accuracy
  • Knowledge and ability to use grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping skills
  • Working knowledge of office procedures
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and explain policies, regulations and programs
  • Ability to resolve problem situations
  • Ability to use phone answering system.
  • Other duties assigned as assigned by supervisor.
Training & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED from regionally or nationally accredited institution
  • One or more years of computer experience and/or training preferred
  • Must be eligible to receive a CDL
