We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendents to oversee day‑to‑day field operations, develop project plans and monitor performance on large‑scale long‑haul fiber installation projects.

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications and building codes.
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project planning.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Track and report on financial aspects of the project.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents.

• Eight or more years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline is an asset.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees and subcontractors.
• Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications and current construction practices.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights in all weather conditions.
• This is a site‑based position that will require travel to various Ledcor offices and project sites as needed.
