Location: Gary, IN – On-site role overseeing full project operations

Note: Must have 3+ years of heavy highway, site development, and field construction experience. Knowledge of asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utilities is preferred.

Job Description
  • Develop and implement schedules and work plans for assigned projects
  • Communicate with customers and project team members to coordinate schedules, project changes, and resolve issues
  • Direct field personnel to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Ensure project documentation and quantity reporting are accurate and complete
  • Develop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assigned
  • Resolve construction challenges collaboratively and proactively
  • Review and evaluate daily project costs, timesheets, truck usage, and equipment utilization
  • Monitor employee compliance with safety programs and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Coordinate with Quality Control, Equipment, and other departments to ensure materials, inspections, and equipment are available when needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy highway, civil, and site development projects (required)
  • Experience with asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utility work preferred
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while leading field operations
