POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for safely handling guests’ and patrons’ vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing, and handling of keys.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Display a positive and professional attitude and presentation at all times when communicating with guests.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the understanding that days off will fluctuate.
  • Stage guests’ vehicles.
  • Park guests’ vehicles in the parking garage.
  • Retrieve vehicles in a timely manner.
NON‑ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Attend seminars when needed.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent required. The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through two months of on‑the‑job training or related experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications required by Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Successfully pass a background check.
  • Successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
  • Work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
  • Maintain a good driving record within the last 48 months with no more than 3 points on record.
  • Provide a current driving record.
  • Possess the ability to drive various types of vehicles.
  • Tolerate moderate to severe weather conditions.
KNOWLEDGE OF
  • Excellent customer service skills.
ABILITY TO
  • Work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Remain calm in a hectic, fast‑paced atmosphere.
  • Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Drive and handle cars of all makes and models, including automatic and manual types.
  • Address stressful situations with guests with dignity, tact, and politeness.
  • Walk/run 90% of the shift and stand 10% of the shift.
  • Tolerate running, stooping, and bending for long periods.
