Position: School Psychologist – School-Based Opportunity

The School Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs of students. This role works collaboratively with educators, families, administrators, and related service providers to promote student success and ensure compliance with Indiana Article 7, IDEA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct psycho educational evaluations and reevaluations for students referred for special education services
  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social-emotional assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Case Conference Committee (CCC) meetings
  • Assist in determining student eligibility for special education services under Indiana Article 7 and IDEA guidelines
  • Develop comprehensive written evaluation reports and provide educational recommendations and intervention strategies
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns
  • Support the development and implementation of intervention plans, behavior support plans, and accommodations
  • Collaborate within MTSS/RTI frameworks to support student achievement and behavioral success
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with required timelines and procedural safeguards
  • Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and program evaluation
  • Provide consultation and professional development to school staff when appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA, HIPAA, and professional ethical standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by administration
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree, Education Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist License required
  • Knowledge of Indiana Article 7 regulations, IDEA, MTSS/RTI practices, and special education procedures
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Experience conducting psycho educational evaluations and interpreting assessment data preferred
  • Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and social-emotional supports preferred
