* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The incumbent in this position is responsible for safely handling guests’ and patrons’ vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing, and handling of keys.
*
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

***(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)
** Display positive and professional attitude and presentation at all times when communicating with guest.
* Must be flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays with the understanding days off will fluctuate.
* Responsible for the staging of guest vehicle.
* Responsible for parking guest vehicle in the parking garage.
* Responsible for retrieval of vehicles in a timely manner.
** NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
*** Attend seminars when needed.
** EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:***(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
* High School diploma or equivalent required.  The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience.

* ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

(Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
*** Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
* Must successfully pass background check.
* Must successfully pass drug screening.
* Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
* Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
* Good driver’s record within the last 48 months and cannot have more than 3 points on record.
* Must provide a current driving record.
* Must have the ability to drive various types of vehicles.
* Must be tolerant of moderate to severe weather conditions.
** KNOWLEDGE OF:
*** Excellent customer service skills.
** ABILITY TO:
*** Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
* Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
* Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
* Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
* Drive and handle cars of all makes and models, and all types (ie. Automatic, manual, etc.).
* Must be able to address stressful situation with guests with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness.
* Must be able to walk/run 90% of shift and stand 10% of shift.
* Must be tolerant of running, stooping, and bending for long periods of time
