Count Team Member - Count Room

Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for all Count Room activities, ensuring the integrity of currency and voucher counting from slot machines and maintaining compliance with the Indiana Gaming Commission. The role also requires delivering exceptional service to internal and external guests.

• Collect funds from slot machines and verify documentation.
• Conduct mechanically assisted counts of BVU boxes and live gaming drop boxes to determine drops and wins per table.
• Process and provide accurate financial records from daily counts.
• Count, strap, and wrap funds, keeping the count room clean and orderly.
• Enter data into the ACSC computer system.
• Communicate and provide excellent customer service to team members, guests, and vendors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to Indiana Gaming Regulations and departmental SOPs.
• Attend seminars when required.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry strongly preferred.

• Maintain all required federal, state, and Indiana Gaming Commission licenses/certifications.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Operate drop carts for picking up, transferring, and delivering funds.
• Capable of moving quickly throughout the gaming floor and performing repetitive motions.
• Work flexible early morning, overnight, or other shift schedules as needed.

• Cashiering or banking operations.
• Gaming industry principles and operations budgeting.
• Basic math skills and using a 10‑key calculator.

• Interact effectively with people.
• Perform mathematical functions accurately.
• Stand for long periods.
• Identify and count different denominations of vouchers and currency quickly.
• Separate and stock varying denominations of vouchers and currency.
• Deliver high‑level customer service in a noisy casino environment.
• Interpret and explain policies and procedures clearly.
