Entertainment Technician - Entertainment Administration

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Production, the incumbent assists in the operational functions of the Hard Rock Entertainment Department, including the set up and tear down of events property‑wide, fabrication, assembly, and disassembly of all equipment, scenery, wardrobes, instruments, and tools necessary for the preparation of professional shows and performances.

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the department to ensure it functions properly.
• Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana for gaming entertainment.
• Actively build and retain guest relations and serve as a mentor to team members for superior guest service.
• Follow Production policies and procedures related to the entertainment department for efficient and effective operations.
• Assist in implementing event operating plans and for Hard Rock Live.
• Assemble and disassemble trusses for lighting shows, soft goods, scenery, drops, curtains, etc.
• Assemble sets and stages, including related light and sound components.
• Load equipment, instruments, wardrobe, tools, etc., before and after shows and performances.
• Repair and maintain lighting, sound, and fly systems, drops, soft goods, stage and stage floor, musical instruments, etc., to avoid delays or cancellations from malfunctioning equipment.
• Demonstrate commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns.

• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard‑free work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.

• Attend seminars when needed.

High School Diploma or trade school certificate and a minimum of three (3) years of event/concert production experience performing similar duties, or a combination of education and experience.

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications required by Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Prior experience opening new properties/outlets preferred.
• Must be twenty‑one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

• Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in event/concert production.
• Ability to read and understand all Hard Rock Northern Indiana policies and procedures.
• Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

• Effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
• Proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
