* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The Slot Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of slot machine repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

** The Slot Technician I will analyze and respond to a variety of customer service related issues.
* Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of component level electronic circuitry in gaming devices.
* Responsible for the installation and removal of gaming devices.
* Day to day preventative maintenance; troubleshoots ticket-in ticket-out and coin machines; performs hopper tests; clears coin jams and bill validator jams.
* Assists in game conversions and firmware upgrades.
* Investigates and verifies any ticket issues.
* Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
* Maintains and calibrates currency validators, executes machine moves, game conversions, installations, and floor upgrade of current ticket-in ticket out products.
* Responsible to investigate device malfunctions of various gaming devices and clears coin bill and coin jams.
* Performs the day to day repair and preventative maintenance of all slot machines. Performs other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
* Perform work regularly, predictably and in a professional manner.
* Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Perform work regularly and adheres to all Indiana Gaming Regulations.
** NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
*** Attend seminars when needed.
** EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:***(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Must have good communications skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have electronic background or minimum two-year experience in slot operations. Must have two (2) or more years’ experience in the Gaming Industry or an equivalent customer service environment.

* ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

(Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
*** Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
* Must successfully pass background check.
* Must successfully pass drug screening.
* Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
* Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
* Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
** KNOWLEDGE OF:
*** Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
* Team Leadership and motivational skills
* Electronics at the circuit board level.
* Technical experience and training with slots.
* Electronic and computer programming.
