- a. Coordinate an activity program according to established policies.
- b. Assist in planning group and individual activities designed to restore self‑care and well‑being and geared to the individual's needs and interest.
- c. Carry out appropriate plans of activities for, and visit residents who are bedfast, unwilling or unable to participate in group activities.
- d. Assist with activities according to the interests expressed by residents.
- e. Encourage resident assistance with and participation in scheduled activities.
- f. Assist with the transportation of residents to outside activities.
- g. Document observations and plans of action in appropriate records.
- h. Maintain privacy and confidentiality of records, conditions and other information relating to residents, employees and facility.
- i. Perform assigned tasks, as directed by the Activity Director, in accordance with facility guidelines and procedures.
- j. Assist in encouraging an atmosphere of optimism, warmth and interest in residents' activity preferences and needs.
