Cleaner​/Forklift operator

CBS Building Maintenance Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Bilingual Janitorial Cleaner with Forklift Experience to join our team at the CN Roundhouse facility in Gary Indiana.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience required
• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to follow safety procedures in an active railroad environment

• Perform daily janitorial cleaning and facility maintenance
• Safely operate a forklift as assigned and authorized
• Maintain clean restrooms, offices, common areas, and work spaces
• Remove trash and debris and maintain designated work areas
• Follow all company and railroad safety policies
• Complete assigned cleaning duties within scheduled shifts
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns to management
