The Quality and Risk Manager will serve within the Quality Department, closely aligned with Risk Management, supporting a dynamic 50+ bed acute care facility that is part of a larger state-wide system. This performance improvement and patient safety division leads regulatory readiness, accreditation compliance, risk mitigation strategies, and quality outcomes monitoring across the continuum of care. The Quality and Risk Manager will champion proactive risk assessment, oversee incident review processes, guide policy development, and collaborate on system-wide initiatives that elevate patient safety and operational integrity.
This department is integral to maintaining high reliability standards and fostering a transparent, Just Culture environment.
Reporting to senior hospital leadership, the Quality and Risk Manager will work collaboratively with directors, physicians, nursing leaders, and frontline clinical teams to strengthen quality metrics, reduce adverse events, and enhance regulatory compliance. The Quality and Risk Manager will be supported by experienced quality analysts and engaged nursing professionals who value teamwork and shared accountability. Responsibilities include oversight of performance improvement projects, facilitation of root cause analyses, regulatory survey preparedness, claims management coordination, and education initiatives that empower clinical staff.
