The Sr. Field Quality Manager will lead the project quality team through the planning, execution, and close‑out phases of a project. Working closely with project and quality management, the role develops and implements project‑required activities, ensures field quality teams execute quality requirements, and supports the Director of Quality in maintaining the quality management system. The position also provides input on best‑practice lessons learned, participates in internal and external audits, and contributes to the vision and goals of the company mission values.

- Provide input from lessons learned and best practices for performing project‑related quality activities to aid in the annual maintenance of the QISG Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and client specifications.
- Manage comprehensive contract and project documentation related to quality management activities, including reports, records, and audits.
- Verify that established quality requirements for design‑build and EPC projects (standards, guidelines, checklists) are effective after implementation.
- Develop project audit plans, including schedule, documentation, and resource requirements.
- Work closely with Quana Operating Units and subcontractors to ensure that quality plan deliverables are met as planned.
- Monitoring and Oversight
- Ensure all project quality management activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Review and approve quality plans, procedures, and inspection reports.
- Perform or schedule systematic and independent examinations/audits of project or surveillance program activities to evaluate implementation, procedural execution, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Assist in identifying and documenting issues that may cause deviations from planned outcomes and develop corrective action plans.
- Verify that project documents used at the jobsite are updated, maintained, and stored in accordance with project procedures.
- Verify that non‑conformances are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved and that the site CM implements verification satisfactorily.
- Team Interaction
- Report to project management on the quality performance.
- Implement procedural improvements and best practices based on audit results and lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality metrics, conducting root‑cause analyses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Interact regularly with field construction operations teams, corporate operations support, project controls teams, and the client.
- Guidance and Leadership
- Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance for quality management activities on design‑build/EPC projects.
- Lead and provide guidance to team members.
- Lead quality‑related discussions during project kick‑off meetings.
- Provide project team QMP training & awareness regarding planned activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, or associate's degree with a minimum of 7 years’, or 12+ years of experience in design quality management, surveillance monitoring, and corporate/operations/project/quality management.
- Successful development and implementation of quality programs and procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Procore principles and tools to execute a Quality Management Program.
- Successful management‑level supervision of quality staff.
- Experience working in multiple states and understanding state and local codes related to quality.
- Strong background in safety requirements and environmental considerations.
- Leadership and inspection experience in surveillance oversight programs.
- Leadership expertise performing quality assurance processes and procedures on construction projects involving engineering, material management, and construction activities.
