* POSITION SUMMARY:

** This individual is responsible for marketing Retail merchandise to guests and stocking the retail area.
*
* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

** Markets retail merchandise to guests.
* Stock and re-stock the Retail area to ensure an adequate inventory of all goods.
* Perform cash and/or credit transactions with guests.
* Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures-including precheck and cashiering procedures.
* Ensures guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines
* Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
* Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
* Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
** NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
*** Attend seminars when needed.
** EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:***(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
* High School diploma or equivalent required.  Cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

* ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

(Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
*** Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
* Must successfully pass background check.
* Must successfully pass drug screening.
* Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
* Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
* Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly required.
** KNOWLEDGE OF:
*** Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
* Hard Rock operations.
** ABILITY TO:
*** Deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
* Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
* Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
* Interpret and explain policies and procedures.
* Consistently communicate effectively with guests, as well as all levels of team members.
