Specialty Representative / Senior Specialty Representative (Live) What You Will DoIn this vital role you will be the connection to our customers by providing clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals and helping them navigate the complex payer environment. You will be the primary customer contact, implement marketing strategy, and promote Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, planning programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in‑person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships, manage accounts, and customize interactions based on customer needs; ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn and grow as a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative.
- Demonstrate passion for our products throughout the sales cycle, building our brand and never losing sight of how we serve patients.

Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative)- Bachelor’s Degree
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of sales experience
- High school diploma/GED and 6 years of sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not related to sales
- Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not related to sales
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field not related to sales
- 13 years of sales, marketing, or clinical experience (pharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred)
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases and related diseases/treatments.
- Some experience and/or pre‑graduate sales or leadership training, or a demonstrated track record of success under pressure.
