Bus Delivery Driver - Part-Time

Midwest Transit Equipment seeks qualified Part‑Time Bus Delivery Driver for our Gary, IN location. This position will work out of our South Holland location while we move to our new Gary location in the spring of 2026.

The delivery driver will work with other members of the Midwest Transit Equipment delivery team to increase customer satisfaction by safely delivering complete, accurate and on‑time deliveries to the company’s customers. The driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost‑effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations.

• Clean driving record
• Valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement
• Comply with Department of Transportation standards
• Drive bus in accordance with established safety procedures
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and fuel the bus as needed
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with the standards and regulations established by DOT
• Assist with parts delivery as needed
