Entry Level Junior Accountant

Description

Robert Half is working with a client in need of an entry level accountant. This position focuses on supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop their accounting skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing

+ Record and reconcile daily financial transactions

+ Support month-end and year-end close activities

+ Prepare basic financial reports for internal review

+ Maintain and update general ledger entries

+ Help ensure accounting controls are followed

+ Assist with payroll processing

+ Provide support for audits and regulatory compliance

+ Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies

+ Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets for data entry and reporting

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

+ Familiarity with bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, SAP, Oracle Net Suite, or Workday is a plus

+ Ability to analyze and interpret financial data

+ Effective communication and teamwork skills

+ Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
