Kid’s Camp Counselor
Linville Golf Club, Newland, NC
Base Pay Range$16.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Position DetailsSeasonal – June to August. Work an average of 30 hours per week, weekdays only. No weekend shifts.
Responsibilities- Maintain a positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm while working with children aged 4 to 7 years old.
- Actively engage with campers by planning, implementing, and supervising age‑appropriate activities.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure smooth camp operations.
- Maintain and clean camp facilities.
- Assist with occasional camp events, including Tuesday night Bingo and 4th of July activities.
- Reports to the Kid’s Camp Director and Coordinator.
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified; training will be provided if necessary.
- Must successfully pass a background check before employment.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. regularly.
- Free onsite housing as needed.
- Meals provided.
