CAD Integration Manager

Overview

We are looking for a qualified dental technician with expertise in exocad software to enrich our team. The role focuses on doctor and dental laboratory support, customer training, and education, with emphasis on exocad Smile Creator and iTero Design Suite.

• Work with labs to train and create aesthetically and technically correct restorative and cosmetic designs based on patient records.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental laboratories on ortho-restorative treatment plans.
• Participate in the further development and optimization of processes and products.
• Lead internal and external training, onboarding of employees, testing scenarios and databases, and conceptualizing and developing automated test procedures.
• Support R&D by continuously testing the software and incorporating feedback from customers, suggestions, and complaints.
• Provide support to resellers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
• Conduct reseller training courses and software demonstrations worldwide, online, and in classroom settings; report on training activities related to customer certification.
• Represent the company and products professionally at trade fairs and other events worldwide.

• 6+ years of dental or dental lab education and experience focused on digital workflows.
• Experience in both basic and complex customer support and software training.
• Demonstrable experience with exocad software; certification or in-depth knowledge is preferred.
• Strong presentation and training skills.
• Practical experience with exocad Smile Creator for aesthetic design using patient photos is advantageous.
• Excellent CAD skills for a variety of dental procedures, including complex ortho-restorative treatment requiring highly aesthetic results.
• Knowledge and experience in orthodontics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
• Independent working style and a commitment to continuous education.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Role is fully remote to the US.

Pay transparency details:
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range Align reasonably expects to set for the posted position. Actual placement depends on individual skills and experience, plus total compensation and equity across team members. For locations outside the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the listed salary is base pay only and may be supplemented by an incentive plan.

A cost of living adjustment may be added for higher cost areas in the U.S. Intern hourly rates are determined by position, location, schooling, degree, and experience.
