Overview
Position:
Children's Assistant Art Teacher (Future Opening) – Kidcreate Studio South Charlotte. Part-time, with permanent and seasonal positions available.
- Assist in teaching art to children (18 months to 12 years) and actively engage with kids during art classes and camps.
- Help maintain a positive, creative, and messy-friendly environment; enjoy cleaning up messes.
- Be available during daytime hours, three or more days per week, including one weekend day.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down activities; support in delivering a high-energy, fun experience.
- Drive and commute as needed; a reliable car is a must.
- Must be 16 or older and willing to complete a criminal background check.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, creative, and passionate about working with kids.
- Willing to complete a criminal background check.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Available for three or more daytime/hours across the week, including at least one weekend day; more hours available during no-school days and the summer.
- 10-15 hours per week (more hours available by request).
- Paid training to prepare for the role.

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio made just for kids. We specialize in children's art classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties—all designed to spark creativity and build confidence. Our classes introduce children to painting, sculpting with clay, and more in a positive, self-esteem-building environment. Weekly classes, camps, workshops, and homeschool sessions are age-specific and tailored to fit each child's needs and interests.
Children create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn real art concepts, and explore a variety of materials.

Compensation$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
