A well-established water and wastewater consulting firm with a deep footprint across the Carolinas is looking for a Project Engineer to join their municipal team. Backed by long-term relationships with more than 100 municipalities, this group leads critical plant upgrade and expansion projects that directly support local communities.

You’ll work directly under a highly regarded Regional Director who has spent his career delivering high-impact municipal wastewater solutions. He’s seeking a technically driven engineer who can grow into a client‑facing leader over time. This is a long‑term opportunity to be mentored by someone who has become a trusted name in the region.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver technical and design services on a range of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Support treatment facility upgrades, pipeline and pump station design, and utility system evaluations
  • Prepare drawings, reports, technical specifications, and permitting documents
  • Collaborate closely with project teams while also taking ownership of individual tasks
  • Join client meetings and help sustain and grow project relationships
What You’ll Bring:
  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering

  • Work on meaningful municipal projects that shape communities across the Carolinas
  • Direct mentorship from a well‑known industry leader
  • Structured pathway to future leadership and project management
  • Hybrid flexibility and choice of office in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Wilmington

If you're technically solid and thinking about what your next step could look like, please apply. This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay hands‑on in design while gaining the experience and support to lead in the future.
