Role:
Process Engineer
As a Process Engineer you will directly impact product quality, cost, delivery, and safety. You will identify improvement opportunities for capital projects, maintain management systems such as PSM, RCA, JSA, Halal, RSPO, and cGMP, and report to the Improvement Process Leader.
What We're Looking For- Lead efforts to reduce variability and standardize production systems with a focus on Safety, Environmental, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Track batch failures, implement corrective and preventive actions, and monitor product performance and process capability.
- Recommend procedural changes, equipment modifications, or product recipe adjustments.
- Maintain product manufacturing and cleaning instructions and provide training to operators.
- Provide process troubleshooting and technical guidance, including after‑hours support when required.
- Deliver development and manufacturing support for capital projects and coordinate with R&D during new product development and scale‑up.
- Use and maintain ISO 9001, RC‑14001, Halal, RSPO, and Process Safety Management systems.
- Ensure compliance with HS&E procedures and update process instructions as needed.
- Participate in MOC, PHA, PSSR, JSA, and incident reporting activities.
- Interact daily with site personnel to execute the operating plan.
- Enter production records into SAP and review associated cost variances.
- Act as the technical representative for customer and certification audits.
- Focus on Continuous Improvement with principles such as Learning Organization, Process Centered, Respect for People, and Long‑Term Vision.
- Work with maintenance to improve equipment reliability, with operators to understand processes, and with project engineers to support capital projects.
- Continuously drive improvements in process capability and product quality.
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 4+ years of Process Engineering experience
- Experience with cross‑functional teams in new product development, technology transfer, process improvement, and general operations.
- Experience with statistical process control techniques.
- Experience with DeltaV (plus).
- Familiarity with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) (plus).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and cGMP (plus).
- Familiarity with SAP S4
