The career opportunity for you:Recore Electric has a new position available for an Industrial Electrical Estimator.
Overview:The Industrial Electrical Estimator plays a critical role in the construction industry, specializing in estimating costs and resources required for electrical installations in industrial settings. This role involves analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to accurately determine the materials, labor, and time needed to complete electrical projects within industrial facilities. The Industrial Electrical Estimator collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all cost estimates, bid proposals, correspondence, and project-related documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements governing bid preparation and submission.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in electrical estimating, preferably in industrial construction or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately quantify materials and labor requirements.
- Proficiency with estimating software Con Est.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in estimation software, spreadsheet applications, and other relevant tools used in electrical construction estimating.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards governing industrial electrical installations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
