As a COMMS Engineer, you will join the railway communication infrastructure area, taking on a fundamental role in the development and deployment of communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large-scale international railway projects. Your talent will ensure the essential connectivity for the mobility of the future.

Challenges that await:

• Analyze project requirements in depth to design optimal solutions.
• Develop precise technical specifications and innovative system architectures.
• Lead the integration of our systems with third-party technologies, ensuring flawless operation.
• Act as a trusted technical liaison with customers and other contractors, building solid relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in both wired and wireless systems.
• Provide expert technical support during the commissioning phase and throughout the operation of the systems.

What will make your application stand out:

• Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in the roll-out of communication networks (Gigabit Ethernet, SDH, MPLS, etc.) and radio communication systems (with special emphasis on GSM-R, TETRA, and IEEE 802.11-based technologies).
• Proven skill in executing onsite testing and commissioning.
• Analytical capability for network troubleshooting using advanced tools like Wireshark.
• Fluent command of English, both conversational and written, essential for navigating our global environment.
• Ability to draft and manage project technical documentation with a high level of detail.
• Availability to travel and flexibility to adapt to sporadic weekend or night shifts, according to project needs.
