Tender Manager Turnkey Projects High Voltage Substations
Join us as a Bid Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in developing, preparing, and submitting winning proposals and tenders for our Turnkey High Voltage Substation business. Imagine collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, finance, project managers, and engineering, to create compelling and competitive bid responses. You will manage bid resources and budgets, ensure compliance with client requirements, and meet submission deadlines, all while contributing to the success of our projects and the growth of our company.
Develop strategic approaches for bids and execute detailed plans to ensure all steps are completed within the required time and financial parameters. Craft comprehensive, clear, and compliant bid proposals that address client needs and highlight our unique value. Work closely with various departments (sales, finance, legal, technical) to gather information, align strategies, and ensure the bid is complete and cohesive. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could affect the bid and project execution success.
Ensure all proposals are accurate, submitted on time, and follow up on the bid after submission, including presentations and negotiations in coordination with Sales.
You hold an Electrical Engineering degree. You have 5+ years of experience as a Bid Manager for High Voltage substations and/or equipment roles, managing bids and tenders, and preparing technical and commercial bids. You possess technical knowledge in Substations and a clear understanding of BoQ, with strong analytical and strategic components. You have experience in business prospecting and pre-sales, as well as preparing and defending bids for clients.
Proficient in English and Spanish is required (Portuguese is a plus) with excellent written and oral communication skills. You are highly proficient in Office suites (Word, Excel, PPT).
