Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst (Contract)
Location (City, State): Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Pay: $45–$55 per hour (Potential $100,000–$130,000 annually if converted to full‑time)

Job Description:Our client is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their corporate finance team. This individual will serve as a key contributor in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role is highly analytical and model‑driven, requiring a strong command of Excel and the ability to interpret financial results in a healthcare environment. The analyst will partner closely with senior leadership and operational stakeholders to support data‑driven decision‑making.
This is a fully onsite position in a professional, collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning
- Lead monthly financial review processes, including variance analysis and performance reporting
- Analyze P&L statements and operational metrics to provide actionable insights
- Partner with department leaders to review results, discuss trends, and support strategic initiatives
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts across multiple business units
- Conduct profitability analysis by department and service line
- Create ad hoc financial analyses to support executive decision‑making
- Assist with system enhancements and upcoming planning software implementations
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and streamline financial workflows
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A
- Strong financial modeling expertise with advanced Excel skills (must be able to build complex forecasting models from scratch)
- Experience analyzing financial statements and operational performance metrics
- Background in healthcare, dental, or multi‑site services strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ERP or planning tools (Net Suite Planning & Budgeting or similar EPM systems preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (not required)
- Contract assignment covering maternity leave (approximately 3–4 months)
- Potential for full‑time conversion is not guaranteed
- Lean finance team (team of two) with high visibility to leadership
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM) - Business casual office environment
