  • Manage an assigned portfolio of loans originated by the Renewables & Asset Finance team
  • Support credit underwriting, complex financial modeling, and detailed financial and credit analysis
  • Monitor operating and construction financings for renewable assets, including wind, solar, and energy storage
  • Review operating reports, construction progress, and monthly construction draws
  • Coordinate with operational teams on loan activity, including draws and Letters of Credit
  • Resolve escalated operational items
  • Interpret credit policies and incorporate requirements into credit analysis and monitoring
  • Support annual reviews, status updates, focus reviews, audits, and risk-rating recommendations
  • Manage communication between borrowers and lender syndicates for Administrative Agent transactions
  • Review credit agreements with internal and external counsel
  • Analyze project documents, including consultant reports, power purchase agreements, and operations and maintenance reports
  • Develop recommendations on waivers, amendments, and consents
  • Review Analysts’ models, credit write-ups, and monitoring deliverables
  • Direct, train, and develop Analysts; allocate work streams and provide performance feedback
  • Maintain client relationships and represent the bank
  • Collaborate with peers, internal partners, stakeholders, and clients
  • Support reporting to credit and senior management, including transaction databases and team comparables
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Corporate Banking Program Analyst formal training with a Tier 1 bank (desired)
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Geoscience, Engineering or similar from a four-year accredited college or university (desired)
  • Understanding of corporate finance principles and capital structuring issues
  • Strong financial modeling, credit, accounting and technical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Project and structured finance experience, including discounted cash flow modeling
  • Experience reviewing, checking or supervising the work of junior team members
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced and complex environment
  • High level of initiative and accountability
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with team members in different locations
  • Ability to act with integrity, good character and sound judgment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • FINRA license(s) required for ongoing employment
  • SIE and FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent, must be completed within 90 or 180 days after starting if not transferable upon hire
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory
  • Additional requirements include enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Successful completion and clearing of a FINRA background check
  • Ongoing regulatory screening and incident-reporting requirements
  • Compliance with policies regarding outside activities and personal investing
