As a Crossing Guard, you will assist students and their families in safely crossing streets near school zones by managing pedestrian and vehicle interactions with authority and care. • Monitor pedestrian and vehicular activity at designated crossing locations.
• Safely stop traffic to allow pedestrians, especially school children, to cross the street.
• Remain alert and observant of surroundings to ensure the safety of all pedestrians.

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, typically one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon when school is in session.
• Willing to adjust schedule on early-release (half) days, with mid-day coverage required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Schedule:
  
  Follows the public-school calendar; no work during school vacations or summer break.
• Starting hourly Rate: is $20.00 with annual step increase. The full salary range is $20.00-$30.52 per hour.
