Turbotec, a company of Mueller Industries located in Newton, NC, is actively hiring for the position of Maintenance Technician. Turbotec produces a diverse range of high-performance heat exchangers for virtually any space conditioning or refrigeration application for the geothermal, water heating, solar, heat recovery, and heat pump markets. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist in many areas of the plant and production.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities and Job Expectations:

Some of the specific duties of a Maintenance Technician will consist of the following:

• Assist with lean projects on the manufacturing floor.
• Install and inspect machinery on the manufacturing floor.
• Install and inspect electrical equipment on the manufacturing floor.
• Troubleshoot/repair machinery for top-tier production.
• Brazing/welding other metal components.
• Inspection of cosmetic defects on in-process and finished products.
• Use of standard tools to perform preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Versatilely use different forms of measurement and test equipment to ensure specification standards are met.
• Ensure machinery is operated correctly to maintain the highest standards.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• HSD/GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of mechanical devices and tools.
