What You'll Do:
As a crucial member of the Supply Chain team, you will manage the essential movement and organization of inventory. Your core duties will include:
- Efficiently transport finished parts and raw materials from the shipping/receiving dock to their designated locations using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Perform accurate and regular cycle counting of bar stock inventory to maintain data integrity.
- Maintain exceptionally clean, neat, and organized inventory areas (on the floor and shelving) at all times, strictly following all safety procedures.
- Safely and proficiently operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks (certification/training will be provided).
- Assist with supply chain documentation, including learning receiving procedures, scanning, and filing packing slips and invoices.
- Support the supply chain process by filling out order forms for raw materials (bar stock).
- Train in other critical supply chain functions to provide backup support for team members during absences, ensuring department continuity and enhancing your career development.
- Assist the supply chain management team with ongoing operational or continuous improvement projects.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to consistently lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs.
- Demonstrated accountability, strong organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to safety and a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A record of excellent attendance and punctuality is essential.
