We Take Care of Our TeamPosition offers a starting salary range of $95,000 - $121,000 USD
. Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

- Support the plant metrics by establishing goals and targets for your area of responsibility.
- Employee relations promoting teamwork, coaching, mentoring, and issuing discipline as needed.
- Lead problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Be proactive and lead initiatives to improve SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environmental).
- Responsible for all employee work and production records in assigned area.
- Responsible for schedule development and adherence in assigned area.
- Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager.
- Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas.
- Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives.
- Primarily supervises the work of hourly employees large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics.
- Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees.
- Responsible for staffing decisions such as hiring, firing, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
- BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience OR 6 years of relevant experience of leading teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing or Logistics setting in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift.
- Business degree.
- Cell based manufacturing.
This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Gastonia, NC, US. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
