Dixon Quick Coupling, a proud division of The Dixon Group, is seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to support our Screw Machine Department. In this essential role, you will help ensure efficient production by managing materials, collecting machined parts, and supporting machine operations throughout the department.

What You'll Do:

• Make hourly rounds to collect machined parts from multi‑spindle screw machines
• Remove and replace chip bowls at designated intervals
• Collect and dispose of machining scrap at the end of each shift
• Operate parts washers and metal chip processing equipment
• Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of machines as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate with employees on the manufacturing floor
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs over the course of a shift

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
• Willingness to learn and support a team-oriented environment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
