Job Summary

We areseekinga skilled and experienced Laser Programmer to join our manufacturing plant team. The Laser Programmer willbe responsible for programming and operating computer- controlled laser cutting, engraving, or welding machines to meet production requirements with high precision and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring theaccurateandtimelyprocessing of materials whilemaintainingthe highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Developandcreatecomputerprogramsforlasermachinesbasedon engineering drawings, specifications, or production requirements.

Selectappropriatelaserparameters,includingpower,speed,andfocallength,for various materials and thicknesses.

Performmachinesetupandcalibrationtoensureprecisealignmentandaccuracy of the laser beam.

Operate andmonitorlaser machines during production runs to ensureoptimalperformance and adherence to programmed paths.

Inspectfinishedproductsforqualityandmakenecessaryadjustmentstothe program as needed.

Collaboratewithengineersandproductionsupervisorstooptimizeprocessesand improve production efficiency.

Troubleshootandresolveissuesrelatedtolaserprogramming,machineperformance, or material processing.

Maintainacleanandorganizedworkarea,includingregularmaintenanceoflasermachines.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Keepup-to-datewithadvancementsinlasertechnologyandprogrammingtechniquestoenhance skills and knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowing Educational/Technical requirements:

Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;additionaltechnicalcertificationsorvocational training in laser technology or related fields is a plus.
Provenexperienceasa Laser Programmerorsimilarroleinamanufacturingenvironment .
Proficiencyincomputer-aideddesign(CAD) softwareandlaserprogramming software (e.g., G-code).
Strongunderstandingoflasertechnology,includingdifferentlasertypesandtheirapplications.
Abilitytointerpretengineeringdrawingsandtechnicalspecifications.
Detail-orientedwithexcellentmathematicalandproblem-solving skills.
Experienceinsettingupandcalibratinglasermachinesforprecisematerialprocessing.
Goodcommunicationand teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
