Location:

Gastonia, NC

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

3rd shift - 10 pm-6:30 am Sunday-Thursday

Job Duties
  • Operate a multiscreen mixing system that controls numerous components to ensure production has batch material in a timely manner.
  • Stock the mezzanine with raw materials for the shift and set up for the next shift.
  • Work with truck drivers to offload material to silos.
  • Communicate with the Team Lead to ensure proper schedule demands can be achieved through batch production.
  • Maintain the inventory system by adjusting it at each batch's production.
  • Support maintenance by operating the mixing system and inform the Team Lead if mechanical/electrical problems occur.
Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Mixing Operator.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
