Key Responsibilities:

• Mustworkwithproduction Teaminallaspectsofproductiontoensureparts produced adhere to IFAB Corp & Customer standards and dimension tolerances.
• Responsibleforrepairingstamptooling.
• Fillingoutandfiling Preventative Maintenance Sheets .
• Changeovertoolingandremovepunchesforsharpeningandreplacement.
• Troubleshootingtoolingandadjustachieveagoodpart.
• Be present at new tooling try outs or engineering changes to ensure safety for operators and equipment.
• Recommendiftoolingwillneedtobesentoutforrepair.
• Keepingtheworkareacleanandmachineswipeddown.
• Notifysupervisorofanyproblems.
• Maintainsspareandchangeovertoolingsoitcanbelocatedwhenneeded.
• Musthavethehandtoolsrequiredtorepairtooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidatemusthavesomeorallofthefollowing Educational/Technical requirements:

• Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;technicalorvocationaltraininginCNC operation is highly preferred.
• Previoustoolanddieexperiencetwoyears.
• Knowledgeofstampingtools,bothprogressiveandtransfer,aswellasbasicpress and feeder knowledge required.
• Knowledgeofpresssafetyandfeedspeedoftoolroomequipmentrequired.
• Musthavegoodmachiningskillsincludingsetupandbeabletomachineacomponentto set dimensions.
• Journeymancardorapprenticeshipcertificatepreferred.

Candidatemusthavesomeor allthefollowingskillsandabilities:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operating and maintenanceinstructionsandproceduremanuals.
  
  Abilitytocommunicate efficiently in both written and oral form.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• While performing the duties of thisjobthe employee is regularly required tostand,walk,sit,stoop,squatandreach,grasp,pushandpullusingarmsandlegs.
  
  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds,frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
