Perm – Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Level III NICU in Gastonia, NC

- License/Certs: NC State APRN License, Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-only, not FNP or PNP)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years as NNP (excluding RN experience); no new graduates
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

- Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III 16-bed NICU
- Collaborate with neonatologists to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Cover neonates and assist with general nursery duties
- Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and family support
- Manage daily care, monitor patient progress, and assist with procedures
- Document care and ensure compliance with hospital policies
- Support unit operations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Required:
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Valid North Carolina APRN license
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience (excluding RN time)
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Experience with single-room NICU environment
- Comfortable with shift rotations and working in a fast-paced setting
