- Hours per Week: Approximately 40 hours

- License/Certifications: NC Nurse Practitioner license, Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as NNP, no new graduates considered
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: this is an hourly rate; total compensation to be discussed upon application)

- Provide primary neonatal care for patients within the Level-III NICU.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
- Assist with coverage of the neonatal nursery and support family-centered care.
- Manage patient assessments, treatment plans, and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
- Support the hospital's mission of providing award-winning neonatal services.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Required:
- NC Nurse Practitioner license with Neonatal Specialty Certification (NNP)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (excluding RN experience)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Preferred:
- Experience in Level-III NICU settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
