Homecare Nurse

• Provide and document skilled nursing care
• Report to Case Managers and/or Clinical Nurse Supervisor
• Render skilled nursing care in collaboration with MGA personnel, in accordance with each patient's care plan and Physician's orders
• Perform specific treatments and medication administration as per care plan
• Function as a team member with the patient, Physician, and health care team
• Identify issues of concern and demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Complete and submit clinical documentation accurately and timely per agency policy/guidelines
• Report on time and as scheduled to complete work within the designated time
• Adhere to company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Work 20–40+ hours per week

• Hold a valid/unencumbered verification/license to practice the job as described in the state where services are provided
• Reliable transportation
• Provide a copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray
• Provide a copy of CPR certification as per agency policy
• Be flexible, organized and have the ability to exercise independent and sound judgment to perform the job duties/responsibilities
• Ability to regularly sit, stand, stop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms, and perform other physical activities as deemed necessary by job duties
• Vision and Hearing capabilities within normal limits, with or without aid
• Ability to frequently lift and or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift or move 100 pounds or more if applicable
• Ability to perform the anticipated level of physical assistance required to provide safe client care

Demonstrates skilled nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders, while effectively collaborating with healthcare teams. Maintains accurate clinical documentation and adheres to agency policies and procedures.
